If you are thinking of pursuing a career in the criminal justice field after high school, or are just curious about law enforcement, then the Broken Arrow Police Department’s Junior Police Academy is for you.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2018 BAPD Junior Police Academy. The academy will be held on June 11-15, 2018, at the Public Safety Center in Broken Arrow. The JPA is provided at no cost to the participants or their parents; however positions are limited so apply now!
We will be accepting applications from 6th-12th grade students who meet the following requirements:
Fully complete the application form
Compose a one page, hand written essay on why you are interested in learning more about law enforcement and/ or what character means to you.
Return the completed essay to the Broken Arrow Police Department no later than May 11, 2018.
The Academy will be filled on a first come first served basis. All cadets will provide their own lunch and transportation to and from the Academy. The Broken Arrow Police Department’s Junior Police Academy will not discriminate against any race, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
