The best crime and mystery novels are situated in “place.” As you will see from these varied plots, mystery and investigation stories find a ready home in Oklahoma and provide a window on the character of the state.
When: The first Thursday of February through June at 6:30 P.M.
A scholar from the region will come to the museum to lead the
discussion of each book.
Please read the book prior to the program.
During the series, we will read and discuss the following five books:

Residents may dump free by presenting a driver’s license with a Broken Arrow address or a recent utility bill. City employees will be on site to verify residency. Any household waste can be dropped off except for the following items: Hazardous materials, liquids (such as paint in liquid form, gasoline, used oil, etc.), batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, untreated medical waste and compressed gas cylinders. Refrigerators/air conditioners/freezers/or Freon containing items will be accepted with the proper documentation that the refrigerant has been properly removed by a licensed CFC technician. There will be a $2 fee for each car tire, $4 fee for each truck tire. Motor oil, batteries, antifreeze, steel cans and scrap metal are accepted year-round at the Metropolitan Environmental Trust (M.e.t.) recycling facility located at 302 N. Elm Pl. The M.e.t. facility also accepts plastic bottles, glass bottles, newspaper, office paper, aluminum cans, cardboard and paperboard.

Citizens, families, civic groups, and churches are all encouraged to come out and select a mile, park or trail to pick up. Gloves, trash bags and reflective safety vests will be available. If your group has adopted a mile, park or trail, take advantage of this event to register and pick it up as one of your scheduled quarterly clean ups!
Clear bags will be provided to separate recyclables to be returned here to the recycling trailer provided by the M.e.t.
Coffee, donuts and bottled water will be provided to participants at registration (while supplies last).
