Children's Miracle Network fundraising kickoff event this Friday, Sept. 1st at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market at 91st and Elm from 10:30-3 with hot dogs, snacks and Coca-Cola. We will have a dunk tank, kids inflatables and a basketball fun zone. We will be accepting donations for The Children's Hospital @ St. Francis and all money raised stays here in NE Oklahoma.
We will also have a raffle with a chance to win a Just Another Hole $150.00 gift card that can be used towards a tattoo or body piercings. We will also have other prizes available in the raffle.
We hope everyone can attend and help show their support for Children's Miracle Network and the St. Francis Children's Hospital of Tulsa.

Renee Dotson is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, a member of Green Country Watercolor Society and a member of the Tulsa Artist Guild.
Renee creates experimental works in water-media on paper and canvas. The natural world that surrounds us is expressed by painting underlying abstract shapes in strong color and contrast. These colors are then layered with textures and additional vibrant forms.
A native Oklahoman, Renee lives in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
She has received numerous awards for her works in juried competitions.

Gatesway is celebrating its 54th year of providing opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Eastern and Central Oklahoma. Gatesway offers an array of residential and employment programs that promote independence and provide opportunities for people with disabilities to improve their quality of life.

The second Annual Cox Community Concert featuring multi-platinum country artist Josh Turner with LANCO and regional favorite Thomas Martinez. Gates open at 5 p.m.; music starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are free, but limited. Ticket holders are asked to donate a non-perishable food item for each ticket. Food donations will benefit Broken Arrow Neighbors. Tickets are limited to four at the time of request. Children 3 and under do not require a ticket.
Also enjoy Tulsa’s favorite food trucks along with beer and soft drinks. A percentage of all food and beverage sales will be donated to Broken Arrow Pride Parents Association and Broken Arrow Neighbors.
Stop by the K95.5 FM and FOX23 booths, the Cox 180 Degree Photo tent and the Outdoor Channel’s Giant Archery Booth for pre-show fun.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets to the performance, as no seating will be provided. No outside food or drinks will be allowed on the premises.

This festival begins on, September 22nd from 7pm-11pm and continues on, Saturday, September 23rd from 10am-7pm. This is a family event and is free to the public. It will take place on Main Street in Broken Arrow; directly in the middle of the Rose District!
Competing artists that register will have a 10’ x 10’ sectioned-off space between Dallas and Broadway, on Main Street to let their imaginations run wild! They have the opportunity to begin their creative masterpiece on Friday evening and complete the design Saturday during the main event. Main Street will be full of color and gallery quality artwork by 2pm Saturday!

We are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Tara Dixon 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk September 30th. Tara passed away unexpectedly November 18, 2015 at the age of 24 after giving birth to her first child, due to an amniotic fluid embolism (AFE). Her son, Asher Dixon, survived a very difficult birth and is now a healthy and thriving toddler. As a tribute to Tara please join us to help #endafe.
All funds raised will be donated to the AFE Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The AFE Foundation is an international organization based in Vista, Calif., with a mission in advancing research to better understand, treat, diagnose and some day prevent Amniotic Fluid Embolism. AFE is a life threatening and unexpected birth complication that can affect both mother and baby.

Gold Star Mother's Day honors mothers, fathers and families who have lost a son or daughter in the United States Armed Forces. Please join us at the Broken Arrow Elks Lodge as we honor our local Gold Star Mothers and Families. At 5 p.m., BAPD and members of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle brigade will lead the Gold Star families from Moore Elementary, 800 N. Butternut Pl., to the Elks Lodge (Along Kenosha, Elm and New Orleans). The public is invited to salute the Gold Star families along this parade route.
